We started TMC with one simple belief: great marketing shouldn’t be out of reach for growing brands. Founded in 2015, we’ve built a modern, flexible model that gives SMEs, challenger brands, and start-ups access to senior expertise and hands-on support, without the costs of a full-time team.

The Mind Collective was founded in 2015 by Letty Edwards-Ellis, following what she calls a mid-life career crisis.

After years in senior marketing roles across global brands, with big teams, big budgets and plenty of boardroom politics, Letty became disillusioned with corporate life. What she really wanted was to get back to what she loved: brands, marketing, and making a real difference.

At the time, she could see that the most creative and tenacious brand building wasn’t coming from multinationals - it was coming from founder-led businesses and SMEs. But while these businesses had huge ambition, they were often led by people with backgrounds in sales, finance or operations. Marketing just wasn’t in the mix.

So, ignoring the (many) naysayers, she built something new.
A modern marketing model designed around the needs of SMEs, challenger brands and start-ups. Flexible, tailored, and commercially focused - giving businesses access to expert marketing support without the overhead of a full-time hire.

Long before “fractional marketing” was a thing, TMC was quietly delivering exactly that: senior-level strategic support and hands-on delivery, built around each brand’s stage, structure and goals.
